Welcome to Creatures & Characters. You can learn about school visits by author illustrator Timothy Young and find out about his books, including his latest, Mac and the Millstone of Time. You can also learn about his creative career in the fields of animation, toy design and sculpting. He’s designed for Pee-Wee’s Playhouse, the Muppets, The Simpsons, Disney, and Universal Studios. Timothy is the author/illustrator of 16 children’s book titles, including The Angry Little Puffin, If You Give a Puffin a Muffin, untitled, I Hate Picture Books, and the Family Choice Award-winning I’m Going to Outer Space!

His favorite part of being an author is traveling to schools and talking to kids.
