Welcome to Creatures & Characters. You can learn about school author visits by author/illustrator Timothy Young and find out about his books.  You can also learn about his creative career in the fields of animation, toy design and sculpting. He’s designed for Pee-Wee’s Playhouse, the Muppets, The Simpsons, Disney, and Universal Studios. Timothy is the author/illustrator of 16 children’s book titles, including The Angry Little Puffin, If You Give a Puffin a Muffin, untitled, I Hate Picture Books, and the Family Choice Award-winning I’m Going to Outer Space!

His favorite part of being an author is traveling to schools and interacting with students.
